The Bait Bobber is a Special Weapon originating from the Make a Good Mega Man Level series, based on Reel Man. It is a fishing line tipped with an explosive bobber, which can capture defeated enemies and launch them forwards as makeshift bombs.

Make a Good Mega Man Level 3
The concept of the Bait Bobber was originally submitted alongside Reel Man in the Make a Good Mega Man Robot Master contest. In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, the weapon appears as a Contest Weapon directly based on the submitted description. When fired, Mega Man launches a bobber a short distance ahead, with a thin line tethering it to the tip of his buster. The bobber initially flies a small distance upwards, before dropping down to the ground and automatically being reeled back in; pressing the Fire button will also reel it in. The initial trajectory of the Bait Bobber can be adjusted by holding Up or Down while firing. If the Bait Bobber lands in water, it will float up to the surface and only retract when the Fire button is pressed again.

When an enemy is hit by the Bait Bobber, the weapon typically explodes on contact; a sufficiently weak(ened) enemy, however, will instead be "hooked" by the Bait Bobber and reeled in, becoming an explosive projectile the size of the captured enemy. The explosion is able to multihit enemies and pierce shields. Depending on the size of the caught enemy, it can also be used as a makeshift shield. The Bait Bobber otherwise functions as it normally would. Most minibosses and bosses are immune to being hooked by the Bait Bobber.

The Bait Bobber is the primary tool used to fill in the Marine Compendium; catching a valid fish or aquatic enemy will add it to the Compendium. The first catch for each new entry will not become a projectile; it will instead flicker in place with the message "New Catch!" displayed above it, then disappear and leave behind a few bolts. All subsequent captures will behave as normal. Bosses in the Compendium will only be caught if the Bait Bobber delivers the finishing blow.

By default, the Bait Bobber inflicts 3 points of damage to enemies. It is stronger against Aquatic and Cluster enemies, which take 4 damage from it. Against Bird, Flying, and Floating enemies, the Bait Bobber only does 1 damage. The damage from a captured enemy's explosion is more variable: if launched directly at an enemy, it will inflict 3 points of damage per hit; if it explodes while reeled in (e.g. walking directly into an enemy with it), the explosion is weaker, inflicting only 1 point of damage per hit. Against Aquatic and Cluster enemies, enemy explosions will always inflict 2 points of damage per hit, and 0.5 damage per hit against Flying and Floating enemies; whether the hooked enemy was cast out or not is irrelevant.

Damage Table
The first number is the damage from a direct hit with the bobber and/or a hooked enemy, while the second is the damage from the explosion released by a hooked enemy.
The Chill Spike, also known as the Chilled Spike (チルドスパイク Chirudo Supaiku?) in Japan, is Chill Man's Special Weapon from Mega Man 10. This weapon launches a special freezing gel which flies in a parabolic trajectory. An enemy hit by this liquid may freeze and become unable to move, similar to the effects of the Ice Slasher. The gel freezes when it strikes the ground or wall and forms razor-sharp icicles on the spot where it landed, which can be used as a trap.

Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level
The Chill Spike was one of the weapons voted to appear in Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level, being one of the four weapons to receive the most votes (3 votes, or 50% of the votes). It mostly functions the same as in Mega Man 10, except up to three spikes can be onscreen at at time, instead of just one.

Damage Table
The order of damage listed is a liquid gel blob, then a fully-formed Chill Spike.
Megamix Engine
The Chill Spike is included with the Megamix Engine, being one of only two weapons from Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level to be present (the other being the Super Arm). It is also an unlockable weapon in the Example Game, earned by defeating Chill Man. Like before, it remains virtually unchanged. Attacking with the gel dels 1 point of damage to enemies (while also freezing them if possible), and the spikes deal 2 points of damage. Nether form has special damage values.
Beat (ビート Bīto) is a support robot who first appeared in Mega Man 5, and has reappeared in multiple games since. Created by Dr. Cossack to aid Mega Man's efforts to preserve world peace, he has filled numerous roles since his debut; whether it be attacking enemies from a distance, saving Mega Man from bottomless pits, or providing shields to him on the field.

Beat first appeared in the original Make a Good Mega Man Level and its remake as an NPC; a role he reprised in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2. In Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, he returns to a more prominent role as a support item. Primarily, he attacks enemies as he did in Mega Man 5, but by purchasing upgrades from Deleuze Pipi, he can perform additional actions.

Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level
Unlike the rest of MaG48HMMLs weapons, Beat was not included in the Megamix Engine, nor even the 48 Hour devkit. Rather, he was included as an extra weapon available at the very start of the game – Mega Man is in fact railroaded into finding him at the Avian Kingdom before he can access any levels. At his most basic, Beat works like a hybrid between his Mega Man 5 and Mega Man 6 appearances: Like the latter, he will target and attack enemies while ignoring bosses, but like the former, he won't kill everything in one hit, and each hit costs a set amount of ammo.

With upgrades from Deleuze Pipi, Beat can perform additional functions, all of which can be toggled on or off from the pause menu. The full list is as follows:
* Beat Attack: Available from the start, Beat will target the nearest enemy and fly towards it, dealing damage before returning to Mega Man. With the Enhanced Sensors upgrade, Beat will target and damage bosses as well, and the Drill Beak upgrade boosts his attack (but not against bosses) while letting him pierce shields. This attack costs 2 bars of ammo by default.
* Beat Rescue: When Mega Man falls into a bottomless pit, Beat will pull him back out, saving him from death. However, he has to land on solid ground before Beat tires out and drops him – Beat will not rescue him again if he falls while Beat is recovering from a previous rescue attempt, nor if he lacks sufficient ammo. With the Legendary Wings upgrade, Beat can carry Mega Man for a longer period of time before dropping him. This function costs 7 bars of ammo by default, though in the hub he can do this infinitely.
* Beat Roost: By holding both the Down and Shoot keys when below full health, Beat will circle Mega Man and gradually restore health. Normally, this costs only 1 ammo per healthbar restored, but if Mega Man takes damage, he will waste 4 bars of ammo. Beat Roost will not work if Beat Medic is in effect.
* Beat Fetch: Beat will target any onscreen items and carry them to Mega Man, excluding Keys, Key Coins, and Energy Elements. With the Fortified Talons upgrade, he will carry E-Tanks, W-Tanks, and M-Tanks (at an extra ammo cost). This function costs 1 bar of ammo for each item obtained.
* Beat Medic: By holding down both the Down and Shoot keys when below full health, Beat will create large health pickups and drop them on Mega Man. This move costs 4 bars of ammo per health pickup. This function acts as an upgraded Beat Roost, which it disables entirely if enabled.

As a weapon, Beat has no special damage values; by default, he deals 2 points of damage to all enemies, and only 1 to the vast majority of bosses, with only a few exceptions.

The Concrete Shot (コンクリートショット Konkurīto Shotto) is Concrete Man's Special Weapon from Mega Man 9. It is a blob of concrete that turns into a solid block when it hits a surface, cracking and crumbling after a short period of time. Mega Man and Proto Man can use the block as a platform, but it will crack even faster if they do so. If the blob destroys an enemy, a block will be created where the enemy was standing; however, the block will fall to the ground instead of floating in the air like blocks created from blobs that make contact with solid surfaces. The shot can also freeze Magma Beams and block Wily 4 Lasers.

Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level
Concrete Shot is one of the weapons in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, included to test platform-creating weapons. The weapon functions mostly the same as it did in Mega Man 9, except it can now also block Quick Lasers. It also deals five points of damage to enemies in the Flying category.
The Salt Water (ソルトウォーター Soruto Wōtā) is Neptune's Special Weapon from Mega Man V. With it, Mega Man fires a large ball of water that travels forward in a small arc, and can be aimed up or down in addition to straight ahead. Upon landing on the floor or a wall, the ball makes a splash and splits into three smaller drops; the direction each drop goes depends on where the ball landed.

Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level
The Salt Water is one of the weapons included in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, voted in from a pool of the least-voted Multihit weapons from the Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 weapon poll. Unlike in Mega Man V, the weapon and its smaller drops do not disappear upon contact with enemies, but instead go through them, inflicting multiple hits.

By default, it does two points of damage to enemies. Notably, Salt Water is effective on little to no fire-based enemies, bosses, and hazards (with the Rain Flush taking most of those attributes). Instead, it works well on bulky enemies and minibosses, doing three points of damage to Semi Bulky enemies, and four to Bulky enemies.
Trivia
* In Mega Man V, Mega Man uses a throwing sprite for the Salt Water instead of his usual shooting sprite. The Megamix Engine currently uses his shooting sprite to better reflect the weapon's official artwork (where Mega Man uses his buster), though this change was reverted for MaG48HMML (which uses throwing sprites instead).
The Flame Mixer (フレイムミキサー Fureimu Mikisā) is one of Konro Man's special weapons from Rockman & Forte: Mirai Kara no Chousensha, obtained if he is defeated by Bass. When the fire button is held down, a flaming barrier will circle around Bass, and he can move freely as it damages nearby enemies. The weapon's ammo will drain while the fire button is held down, and releasing the fire button will cause the flames to rise above Bass.

Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level
The Flame Mixer is one of the weapons in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, voted in from a pool of the least-voted Shield weapons from the Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 weapon poll. By the nature of the contest, the weapon is now used by Mega Man instead of Bass.

The Flame Mixer has been given minor upgrades from its debut in Mirai Kara no Chousensha; the flames are larger, and they can now absorb enemy projectiles. Being a fire weapon, it can also light Oil and Oil Slicks.

The Flame Mixer deals one point of damage to enemies in the Fire category, and four points of damage to enemies in the Nature or Ice category.

The Sakugarne is Quint's Special Weapon from Mega Man II. Being a remodeled jackhammer robot, it is able to smash rocks into pieces.

When activated, it spawns in front of Mega Man, who can then jump onto it and ride it like a pogo stick. Mega Man moves around with short hops while riding it, even when no button is pressed and Mega Man is idle, and can make large jumps by holding the jump button. Mega Man can use the Sakugarne to cross spiked floors without harm. It can be used to jump off of most foes, which will propel Mega Man upward and cause major damage to the foe underneath. It can also jump off of projectiles.

The Sakugarne only uses energy when Mega Man is on it.

Make a Good Mega Man Level 2
The Sakugarne was one of the weapons voted to appear in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, receiving the most votes in the Gimmick category (20 votes). Costumes can change the look of the Sakugarne (Sonic, for instance, changes it to a spring from his home series), but it functionally remains the same.
The Sakugarne is present in the Megamix Engine, alongside almost every other Make a Good Mega Man Level weapon up through Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. Functionally unchanged from its Make a Good Mega Man Level 2 iteration, it deals 4 points of damage to the majority of enemies. Enemies in the "Rocky" category take 8 points of damage from it, however.

Unlike in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, the Sakugarne doesn't change the user's colours, in keeping with the weapon's official artwork.
The Match Blast is a weapon originating from the Make a Good Mega Man Level series based on Match Man. When fired, Mega Man will shoot a short-ranged blast of fire that propels him opposite to whatever direction the weapon is aimed in, or slightly upwards if it is not aimed.

Make a Good Mega Man Level 2
The Match Blast first appeared as a Contest Weapon in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, replacing the Sakugarne. Because the weapon isn't reliant on summoning an external partner, it is able to be used on bosses that otherwise disable the Sakugarne's use, such as Groovity Man. The Match Blast won't work underwater, with only a small set of bubbles appearing if Mega Man attempts to fire it while submerged.
The Grab Buster, known as the Snatch Buster (スナッチバスター Sunacchi Basutā) in Japan, is Mercury's special weapon from Mega Man V. When Mercury uses it against Mega Man, he can steal weapon energy, Tanks and P-Chips. Mercury can also fire it diagonally.

When used by Mega Man, it sends a shot straight forward that can steal energy from enemies to heal two units of health.

Make a Good Mega Man Level 2
The Grab Buster is one of the weapons that was voted to appear in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, receiving the most votes in the Special Buster category. Here, it works very similarly to its original iteration, but it is also effective against beefy, mid-tier enemies such as Fan Fiends, Hari Harrys, Nobitas, Pandeetas, and Totem Polens. It is also quite slow compared to most of the other weapons.
The Grab Buster is present in the Megamix Engine alongside almost every other weapon to appear in the Make a Good Mega Man Level series. Unchanged from its Make a Good Mega Man Level 2 iteration, it deals 1 point of damage to the majority of enemies. Enemies in the "Semi Bulky" category, however, receive 3 points of damage from it.
* The Grab Buster's palette in MaGMML2 was originally green and light green, but after the developers realized it didn't match the official artwork, it was changed to its current green and pink palette. This palette is, however, used in MaG24HMML, as it is based on an older version of the MaGMML2 engine.

The Metal Blade (メタルブレード Metaru Burēdo) is the Special Weapon of Metal Man, hailing from Mega Man 2. It is a sharp sawblade that can be fired in eight directions. It is notorious for being extremely overpowered in its home game, especially compared to the other weapons native to 2.

Make a Good Mega Man Level
The Metal Blade was a weapon voted into Make a Good Mega Man Level by the Talkhaus community, tying with 9 other weapons in vote count (3 votes); the tie was broken by putting the weapons in a random number generator and picking the first five weapons on the generated list (the other four weapons chosen this way were Gemini Laser, Solar Blaze, Black Hole Bomb, and Magic Card). To prevent it overshadowing the other weapons, it has been nerfed significantly; losing half of its ammo and its enemy-piercing effect. It is the weakness of Justice Man, the Mechazaurus Wily Archive. It is also one of Birdo's weaknesses.
Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered
In Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered, Metal Blade returned with the changes made to the weapon in the Megamix Engine (see below). It is no longer Justice Man's weakness, though it is the weakness of the new fortress boss Shadow Gacha.
Megamix Engine
The Metal Blade is included in the Megamix Engine alongside (almost) every MaGMML weapon up to Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. Notably, the weapon now fires from Mega Man's hand when he throws it, and not from Mega Man's center. To most enemies, it deals 1 point of damage, but enemies in the "Nature" category are instead dealt 3 points of damage.
