The Water Block is a gimmick from Mega Man Powered Up. It is a small machine that frequently shoots a large jet of water.

Water Blocks were first included in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, and were used in the entries Cardinal Man, A Mega Man for All Seasons, and Biplane Bay, as well as the Tier X stages Deep Thoughts and Swiss Hotel, the Pit of Pits sublevel "Ocean Sickness", and in Null and Void.

Behavior
Water Blocks periodically shoot a four blocks-tall spout of water that pushes Mega Man in the direction it travels in, which disappears after a certain amount of time has passed. The top of the spout is a solid platform that can be used to reach high areas. Though by default Water Blocks aim upwards, they can be rotated in the room editor to shoot left, right, or downwards for a greater variety of puzzles or hazards utilising them.

Water Blocks have three creation code variables:
* startTimer - Affects how long it takes for a Water Block to shoot a jet of water.
* activeTimer - Affects how long a water jet exists for before vanishing.
* mode - If set to 1, all entities with gravity and collision will be pushed by a water jet rather than just Mega Man.

Trivia
* In all devkits Water Blocks have appeared in to date, they are named "objWaterJet".
* A white version of the gimmick is used in the Milk boss fight
The Super Arm (スーパーアーム Sūpā Āmu) is Guts Man's Special Weapon from the original Mega Man. While it cannot do anything on its own, it can be used to pick up certain types of blocks. These blocks can then be thrown with a parabolic curve, and if the block hits a surface, it will split into four smaller projectiles that fly forward.

Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level
The Super Arm is one of the weapons in Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level. It has been made slightly less situational compared to Mega Man, as it can now pick up Junk Blocks and Chill Man Blocks, on top of still being able to pick up blocks specifically designed to be lifted by it.

Damage Table
Megamix Engine
The Super Arm is present in the Megamix Engine, and along with the Chill Spike is one of only two weapons from Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level to be included. The player can obtain the weapon in the engine's Example Game by defeating Guts Man. It functions the same way as it had before, only now certain bosses, such as Stone Man in his crumbled state and the Picopico-kun's pieces, can be directly picked up with the weapon. Thrown blocks deal four points of damage by default, and debris from them deals two points. Although no special damage values for enemies are present, damage values have been added for bosses.

The objects the Super Arm can pick up include:
* Super Arm Blocks
* Pico Bricks
* Junk Blocks
* Pole Eggs
* Dustman Blocks
* Darkman Blocks
* Stone Man
* X Blocks
* Chill Man Blocks
* Mercury Blocks

Damage Table
The order of damage listed is a whole Super Arm block, then a shot of debris from a shattered block.
Mega Man 10 is the tenth game in the classic Mega Man series. It continues the classic NES style used by Mega Man 9, being very similar in terms of gameplay. Proto Man is now playable by default, and there are five Wily stages instead of four. On top of including the achievement-based challenge system from Mega Man 9, the game also includes a set of challenges similar to the Challenge Mode of Mega Man Powered Up. Finally, additional features are once again provided through DLC; on top of the "Endless Attack" mode returning, three special stages can be purchased, and clearing them will give Mega Man access to additional special weapons. With Proto Man now being a default playable character, Bass now appears as an additional DLC character.

Representation in MaGMML
Much like Mega Man 9, Mega Man 10 only experienced minor representation in the MaGMML series prior to MaGMML3 (to the point where no enemies from the game were available in the devkit for MaGMML2). However, MaGMML3 rectifies by adding every single enemy and midboss from the game to its devkit. Additionally, with six of the game's weapons having appeared in the first three contests (as well as MaG24HMML), Mega Man 10 is tied with 9 as the most represented game in weapon sets, with the only weapons that have yet to appear being Commando Bomb and Rebound Striker.
The Switch Block is a gimmick from Mega Man Powered Up. It is a small block that can be disabled or enabled through the use of switches.

Switch Blocks were first included in the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level.

Behavior
Switch Blocks are solid blocks that will be either "on" or "off" depending on the Switch Ball they're tied to; this is assigned by giving a Switch Block the same "myFlag" value as that of the switch to use via creation code. If a Switch Block isn't currently active, it will take on a darker colour and stop being solid until it is turned on again. Switch Blocks come in two colours; blue (which is active if the switch is in its "off" state) and red (which is active if the switch is in its "on" state).

Trivia
* In all devkits Switch Balls have appeared in to date, they are named "objPUSwitchBlockRed" and "objPUSwitchBlockBlue".
Cannon Joe is an enemy from Mega Man 6. It is a Sniper Joe in a rotating seat with a cannon on the front.

Cannon Joe was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the entries Chroma Key, Sunset Siege, Wily Combo, Napalm Forest and Caves, Maze of Death, and Thunderclyffe Plant, as well as the Wily stage Flashback Database. They have a special sprite in Wily Combo.

Cannon Joe returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Chomp Man, Crystal Lab, Conveyor Mayhem, and The Stage Nobody Asked For, as well as the Pit of Pits room "Paradrop".

Behavior
'Cannon Joes' simply stay in a single place, periodically shooting an angledprojectile at Mega Man.
The Joes are always vulnerable and can be taken out very easily.

Glass Man is the first place stage of the first Make a Good Mega Man Level contest. It features a large amount of custom assets, including a custom tileset, a custom enemy, and a custom boss. Of all of the first game's entries, it is the one that most resembles a Robot Master stage from the classic game, complete with a fight against its titular Robot Master at the end.

Strategy
This isn't an overly difficult level, though a few new things can mess a player up. The Vitreous enemies should be killed with immediately with a charge shot, otherwise they will erect four glass shields which must be individually shot. The falling crystals, unlike the ones from Crystal Man's stage, are timer-based, thus simple memorization and timing will allow the player to get past them.
{{JudgeComment1
|pyro=Oh man this was AMAZING! The new enemy with the glass shield was really neat and used pretty well, and the spritework here was absolutely fantastic. The stage was also designed pretty well, too, with some interesting setups with the Nut-and-Bolts and neat platforming challenges. And there's so much attention to detail put into it, too, with the crystals breaking!! The boss was super fun too, though I found his glass orb attack to be a bit tough to dodge. Also I sure hope Daniel Page doesn't track me down again for this stage having MME music :V
Gunpowder Cellar is the 32nd place entry in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2. It's known for exploding barrels and rocks falling from the ceiling.
Strategy
Good luck. Also, the barrels can be destroyed by charged shots, Wheel Cutter, and Triple Blade.

Like with Plant Man, the strategy to fight Match Man primarily involves jumping over him as he's moving towards you, and preparing to jump over the projectile that he fires after each jump. (Also, like Plant Man, the best time to attack Match Man is when he's charging at you, since Match Man is invulnerable to attack while jumping.) As for dodging the fiery rain, try to stay close to the center for the 1st time, and try to stay close to either side of the room for the 2nd time.
The only Noble Nickel can be found to the left after you climb the ladders from the first two rooms past the key door.
Judge Comments
{{JudgeComment2
|pyro = Good level overall, though I do have a few issues with it. I'm not really sure if just having a ! sign was the best way to convey that rocks were going to fall at that spot, because it WILL catch you the first time you go through and it kept catching me because I kept thinking that the signs were decoration in my head. It doesn't help that they just seem to come out of the ceiling and there isn't really any logical hole or noticeable tube they'd come through. Other than that, the level was pretty good, though I kinda wish the barrels were used a bit more, like have them contain enemies or something. Some parts of the level felt a bit cluttered at times, namely the part where you have to grab the key, but most of it is pretty good. I like the boss fight, and it's learnable and fair, though I do think that the damage that the match oes to you is a bit much. Overall a solid level. ALSO I SAW THAT SMOL ISAAC
|jupi = You nailed down the 'abandoned basement' vibe pretty well, but this level was kinda lacking in terms of design. The bottom area was really cramped, same with the vertical section. It wasn't really clear that the key was INSIDE a barrel, which confused me and made me backtrack when I didn't need to. The boss was unfair because it was nearly impossible to telegraph its attacks, and its weakness (Grab Buster) is a very slow weapon that usually fails to hit the boss in time because of its many, MANY periods of invincibility. Overall, this level had some potential, but it just...kind of missed the mark :/
|enjl = I feel like this level got a bit carried away with its cellar theme there. The way this level is laid out makes the enemy positions not at all comfortable to deal with and the environment is overall claustrophobically cramped on many occasions. The matchstick boss is a neat idea considering the gunpowder theme and I like its pattern, though the final attack is something that the player can't predict unless they know it's coming. Overall I wish this level tried less to feel like a building and got more creative with its layout to compliment its enemy positions and not its general aesthetic.
|garirry = This level had potential to be good considering the fairly interesting idea for this stage, but there are so many issues that make it very mediocre. This stage fails at the basics of level design; every section is filled with too many enemies and obstacles that are nearly impossible to avoid. The fact that you need to stop to recharge your buster to destroy the barrels just makes this level more frustrating. The boss also has inconsistent attacks. So in short, this is a stage that could have been good, but ultimately ends up being a frustrating mess.
|gadesignnote = Man, this level fails at the basics of level design. Many sections are filled with an overabundance of enemies that are hard to avoid, etc. It's also very bad at teaching the level itself.
|gafunnote = It was okay. I did have some fun but the stage is frustrating.
|gacreativitynote = Admitedly, it shines here. The idea is very good and I liked how it was done.
|gaaestheticsnote = Meh.
|gafunctionnote = Works just fine.
|ace = This was fun enough, if not spectacular.

I guess my primary issues are a few 'this is irritating' moments. For example, this stage has an awful lot of areas where it isn't... actually obvious where to go. So many areas look like they should scroll to the next screen, but don't. It's rather annoying to travel up somewhere without say, a path, or even a reward for doing so.
There are also quite a few areas where you could've benefited from, say, sticking in another Nickel rather than... bolts. It's a bit of a bummer to work to get somewhere only for there to be almost nothing waiting for you. I appreciate the one you stuck in there though.
Final issue - this stage lets you spend the entire thing doing it buster only - up until the end which suddenly requires weapon usage. Erm.. why? Especially since it's on the main route. [POST JUDGING COMMENT: This was a glitch, and fixed post judging.]

There is one really major missed opportunity here - A lack of cartoon gunpowder line? This stage could've benefited with a gimmick somewhat like that if only to boost this from 'just solid' to 'great'. Your new asset wasn't really pushed far enough to be memorable, but at least the stage was designed around the fact they don't respawn, so kudos to that.

I liked most aspects of your Robot Master (I.. guess he's a Robot Master?), except for the fact he's randomly invincible whilst jumping. He doesn't look like he should be whilst doing that, and it's enough to throw the player off completely.

Costumes are purchaseable unlockables in the Make a Good Mega Man Level series that change Mega Man's appearance. Aside from a few exceptions, they are purely cosmetic and offer no gameplay advantages.

Make a Good Mega Man Level
Only a single costume can be found in the original Make a Good Mega Man Level game — the Proto Man costume, purchasable from Eddie's shop from the beginning for a paltry 50 bolts. It does not change any dialogue (even the player's name), unlike in future installments.

Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered
Roll runs a costume shop located right under Tier 5, selling the Proto Man, Roll, Bass costumes for 50 bolts each, as well as the Custom Costume option for 200 bolts. The costumes now change some dialogues containing Mega Man's name, but not all of them.

Make a Good Mega Man Level 2
Costumes not only return from the first game, but are greatly expanded upon. Roll runs a costume shop located between Tier 4 and Tier 5, where the player can go at any time to purchase a costume or equip one they have already purchased. Some skins cannot use the alternate weapon set, due to not having the necessary sprites. In the Costume Shop, which weapons can and cannot use the weapons are denoted by a pumpkin icon in the lower right corner of the skin display.

The game itself is inconsistent on whether the costumes are simply that--costumes--or actually changing the player into the character in question. When reentering the costume shop, Roll will greet the player with the costume's name in scare quotes as if she's merely playing along; on the other hand, if Mega Man wears a costume that matches the identity of an NPC, that NPC will disappear while wearing that costume. For example, equipping Hornet Man's costume will make Hornet Man disappear from Tier 3. The exceptions to this are Met and Dr Light, who still appear in Tier 10 and the lab, respectively. Additionally, wearing any costume other than Mega Man (with or without helmet) causes Mega Man to appear near the entrance to Tier 3. The exception to this is Roll, in which case Rock will run the costume shop in her absence.

Defeating the Wily Machine SWORD in the Reality Core stage will automatically remove their costume, reverting them to Mega Man. This is intentional, to avoid plot holes when encountering megaman sprite game. This does not happen if the player battles the Wily Machine SWORD via the Dojo.

Many costumes provide unique dialogue with certain NPCs. A good amount of them change the sprites for utilities, such as Rush Coil, Rush Jet, and Sakugarne. They still function identically, however.
|A dog is man's best friend, and they're always so carefree. I don't blame you for wanting to be one.
|The Sakugarne is replaced with a spring that causes Rush to resemble Mega Man 5s Rush Coil, and the Rush Coil and Rush Jet are both replaced with Mega Man. When Rush enters a level, "READY" will be replaced with "BARK, WOOF!"
|Defeat Cirno with only the Mega Buster.
|A cute appearance! I feel like I've seen her and some icy person hanging around the festival.
|Marisa Kirisame is one of the main protagonists of the Touhou series by ZUN. Notably, she is also the protagonist of MegaMari, a Touhou fangame that plays similarly to the Mega Man games. Marisa's Rush Jet is replaced with a broom, different from the one Doropie uses. Marisa has unique dialogue with Cirno.
|-
|Karrot Man is the avatar of Sprites Inc member Karakato, one of the artists who worked on the game. Karrot Man's buster is modified to shoot carrots: uncharged shoots a small carrot, mid-level charge shoots three small carrots, and full charge shoots a large one. Karrot Man's Rush Coil spawns a bunny instead of Rush, and Rush Jet spawns a carrot for him to ride. When starting a level, the intro says "GOOD FOR YOUR EYES!" instead of "READY".
|Ah, you are a good judge of costume quality. (Get it? Hee hee.)
|Davwin is the avatar/fursona of ACESpark, judge of MaGMML2 and owner of Sprites, Inc. Davwin has unique sprites for Rush Coil and Jet, which spawns his companion, Patch. Davwin has unique dialogue with Tango, Yellow Devil, Uranus, and Pluto. When starting a level, "READY" is replaced with "BARK, WOOF".
|-
|Cut Man?, refered to as "Cut Man" by NPCs and "Bad Scizzors Cutman" by others, is the protagonist of the Mega Man 2 ROM hack Cutman's Bad Scizzors Day. Cut Man? has unique dialogue with Cut Man, Dr. Light (who gains a new sprite), Cheat Man and the displays outside Roll's shop. Roll will also express a bit of fear if you return to her shop in this costume. Starting a level as Cut Man? replaces "READY" with "LOZAR".
The only change it makes is changing colors for the weapons and facing different directions. ===Custom Costumes===
Custom costumes are a unique subset of costumes that are unlocked by speaking to Knight Man after obtaining 100 Noble Nickels. As the name implies, they can be either designed by the player themselves with the appropriate template, or else downloaded from their respective page on the wiki.

Custom costumes may or may not have access to alternate weapons, and can have unique sprites for Rush Coil, Rush Jet, and/or Sakugarne. Custom costumes cannot be set to have unique "READY" sprites or dialogue with NPCs.

Cut Man? has unique dialogue with Cut Man, Dr. Light (who gains a new sprite), Cheat Man and the displays outside Roll's shop. Roll will also express a bit of fear if you return to her shop in this costume. Starting a level as Cut Man? replaces "READY" with "LOZAR".
Kylie Noelle, also known as SnoruntPyro, is a prominent figure in the history of the Make a Good Mega Man Level series. She is the creator of the series, and has played multiple significant roles in developing it.

Background Information
Before creating the MaGMML series, SnoruntPyro also made several contributions to contests and fangames on SMW Central (A website focused primarily on ROM hacks for the video game Super Mario World) and talkhaus (A forum focused around the YouTube user raocow). MaGMML was inspired by various level design contests held on these websites, and the name "Make a Good Mega Man Level" is based on contests held on the talkhaus forums named Make a Good Level (a level design contest with levels created in Super Mario World) and Make a Good Level X (a similar level design contest focused on the Super Mario fangame/engine Super Mario Bros. X, with the added gimmick of entrants having to base their levels off of a randomly-generated level name).

Make a Good Mega Man Level
As the creator of Make a Good Mega Man Level, SnoruntPyro served as the contest's host, one of the five judges, and a programmer. Being a judge and host, she also designed two of the Wily stages; specifically the first stage and the final stage.
Make a Good Mega Man Level 2
SnoruntPyro returned to develop Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, reprising her role as a host, a judge, and a programmer, as well as a designer for multiple hub areas. Once again serving as a judge, she also designed stages for the Wily Star II; specifically Water Ducts and parts of Reality Core. She also made the Tier X stage Swiss Hotel. On top of that, she made several rooms for Null and Void, including making one room each for floors 1, 3, and 4 on her own, and working alongside MiniMacro to make a room on floor 2. Finally, she made the Pit of Pits sub-levels "Epic Wrap Battle", "Gambly Night", "Metroid: Zero Mission", "My Cool New Boss Fight", "Night of Semiramis", "Obscure Gameboy Gimmick", "Skull Man Kills", and "Typical Miniboss Fights".
Proto Man, known as Blues (ブルース Burūsu) in Japan, is the first Robot Master created by Dr. Light. Considered the "older brother" to Mega Man and Roll, he first appeared in Mega Man 3 where he tested Mega Man to see if he could beat Dr. Wily, as well as sometimes aiding him on his way through levels.

History
Proto Man was originally intended to become the first humanoid robot capable of independent thought and reasoning.

As a prototype robot, Proto Man's design was not complete. Although he greatly exceeded Dr. Light's expectations on several levels, it was later discovered that Proto Man's energy core had a critical problem that would eventually make him stop functioning. Dr. Light planned to repair him. However, since he was created too independent, Proto Man feared the modification would change his character. Proto Man refused to have Dr. Light meddle with his systems and fled to protect his sense of identity.

Dr. Light had presumed Proto Man to have died and regrettably gave up on him. Learning from his mistakes, he perfected the energy core and created two unit robots, Rock and Roll, to help him with the house works and another six robots designed to help humanity . Proto Man's design became the basis of the Sniper Joe series of robots.

Proto Man wandered the world alone. Before his energy reactor was completely depleted, the scientist Dr. Wily found him collapsed and dying. Dr. Wily managed to temporarily repair Proto Man by altering his power reactor from a solar to a nuclear one, as well as making other modifications, turning him into a combat robot. He also gave Proto Man the Proto Shield to compensate for his body's weakness, and in an attempt to hide his identity from Dr. Light, he gave him his helmet and his now-trademark visor. Working on Proto Man's systems gave Wily greater knowledge in creating robots at the same level as Dr. Light, helping his plans for world domination along.

Indebted to Dr. Wily, Proto Man served him until his encounters with Mega Man in Mega Man 3 made him realize his true nature. Proto Man saved Mega Man in the end of Mega Man 3, and officially turned against Wily in Mega Man 4, when he rescued Kalinka Cossack. However, he still refused help from Dr. Light, still holding onto his feelings.

Proto Man's signature whistle is a staple of the character and almost always plays before his appearance.
