8 Centipeder Tower is a boss from Make a Good Mega Man Level 2. It is a giant ground-dwelling centipede robot with mutiple segments and a large arsenal of weapons, which includes Crash Man's Crash Bomber. It appears at the end of Beneath Sand and Rock, but reappears with a different design in the Tier X stage Wily Fortress VR.
8 Centipeder Tower starts the fight by using an attack that consists of shooting three groups of three projectiles (one from each segment that has a cannon on it), then shooting two exploding mines while sinking back into the quicksand. The possible projectiles are:
- Small projectiles that fly straight forward.
- Exploding projectiles that move in an arc.
- Fireballs that are aimed directly on Mega Man.
- Eggs that bounce along the top of the quicksand and explode upon making contact with a wall.
- Missiles that home in on Mega Man.
After using this kind of attack three times, 8 Centipeder Tower will perform an attack where it only rises slightly above the quicksand, and rams into the wall, causing two rocks to fall from the ceiling. After this attack, the pattern repeats.

Other Notes
|
Each of its three weak points has its own iFrames counter, which can favor weapons that allow multiple hits.
|
- Internally, 8 Centipeder Tower's sprites are labelled as "sprCrashTower", suggesting Crash Tower was an early name for it.
