Au-Au is an enemy from Mega Man 6. It is a guard robot that looks like a cute fur seal.

Au-Au was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Cardinal Man, A Mega Man for All Seasons, Just an Ice Level, Misty Lake, and Neapolitan Man. It also appeared in the secret level Twilight Lodge, the Wily stage Reality Core, and the Pit of Pits sublevels "Magic Crash-Pit Ride" and "Vacuum Seal". In Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, it appeared in the levels Frosty Fields and When Spike Drops Freeze Over.

In Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, Au-Au was used in the entries Sleet Citadel, Oh No! More Compactors, and Into the Furnace. It returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, and appeared in the entries The Cave Level That Exists, Wilys Redemption, Call Me Ishmael, and Blizzard Resort; as well as the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Filched Fortress", "Gimmicky Naming Scheme", and "Walking on Sunshine".

Behavior

Au-Au sits in place, and waits for Mega Man to get in front of it. When it does, it will create a large glowing energy shot at the tip of its nose, then launch it at a downwards angle. It will repeat this process after a small delay (the length of which can be raised or lowered by setting "cooldownMax = #" in creation code).
