Ballade is a boss from Mega Man IV. He was built by Dr. Wily as the third (and final) of the Mega Man Killers; a group of robots designed specifically to destroy Mega Man. While Ballade is the weakest of the Mega Man Killers defensively (being the only of the three who takes damage from anything other than the Mega Buster in his original game), he is able to both shoot Ballade Crackers to serve as explosive projectiles, and drop them on the ground to serve as mines that make it harder for Mega Man to avoid attacks. He can also change into a stronger form with a different appearance.
Alongside fellow Mega Man Killers Enker and Punk, Ballade was added as a premade boss in the Megamix Engine, and appears in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 as a devkit boss in the entries The Haymay Trials, Ballade's Square of Doom, and Hunter Tower, and is part of the Remnant Rumble in Rec Man. He also appears in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level as the boss of Short Base and Warehouse of Conveyors. As an NPC, Ballade appears in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero in both Dr. Wily's Secret Bunker and the "Cool Robots Club" in Entrance Succession, and in MaGMML3 in Tier 8.
Ballade will randomly choose between one of three attacks:
- Jump to Mega Man's location twice, dropping a mine where Ballade started his first jump from. This mine can be destroyed before it explodes on its own. Ballade will always start with this attack.
- Run over to Mega Man.
- Shoot a Ballade Cracker straight forwards, which explodes on contact. It can be destroyed by weapons.
Ballade can use his second form from Mega Man IV and Mega Man 10 as a creation code option. Like in 10, however, it is purely cosmetic, and doesn't change his attacks or pattern in any way.

- Ballade is the only Mega Man Killer who doesn't appear as an NPC in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2.
- In the second boss rush video for MaGMML3 (in which he was revealed), Ballade used generic sound effects in his fight. Prior to the release of the Megamix Engine, these sounds were swapped for the more unique sounds of his Mega Man 10 fight.
