- "When hidden in cloud form, they go in a slow wave pattern. But when hit, the cloud disappears and they fly fast and straight like a bullet."
- ―Note in Bomb Flier's code, Megamix Engine
Bomb Flier is an enemy from Mega Man 3. It is a missile robot that hides behind a cloud cover (Dr. Wily was inspired by, of all things, fried shrimp while making it).
Bomb Flier was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, but wasn't used in any entry stages. It did, however, see use in the Wily Castle stages Cannon Deck, Be the Bigger Person, and Flashback Database. Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered omits it from all three stages' redesigns, but retains them for the original "Old Style" versions.
Bomb Flier returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Volcanic Furnace, Wily Coaster, and Duwang, as well as the Tier X stage Swiss Hotel, and the Pit of Pits sublevels "Clouded Judgement", "Paradrop", Up And Down", and "Vu". It also appeared in the Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level Wily stage Up 'n' Duck, the Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero stage Surfboard Showdown, and the Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level stages Volcanic Facility and Hydrothermal Layer. MaG48HMML also features it as one of Don Atetemino's enemy summons during the final boss fight.

Behavior[edit]
Bomb Flier slowly flies in a small sine wave from one side of the screen to the other. If Mega Man shoots them, however, their cloud cover dissipates to reveal its true form, which then flies straight ahead much more quickly. Though the robot can be damaged and destroyed at this point, it is usually better to avoid them entirely.
