"An enemy from Hornet Man's stage. It will stay still until Mega Man gets close, on which it will launch out a flower missile that homes in on the player. It reloads after a short cooldown."
―Note in Flower Presenter's code, Megamix Engine

Flower Presenter is an enemy from Mega Man 9. It is a flowerpot-shaped robot that fires homing missiles resembling plants.

Flower Presenter was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. However, its game debut was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, which used it in Twilight Terrace, Refurbished Pyramid, and Null and Void.

Behavior[edit]

Flower Presenter sits in place waiting for Mega Man to get close to it, at which point it launches a flower missile that follows him constantly. The missile can only change directions eight times before harmlessly self-destructing, though they constantly reload their flowers and will fire them for as long as Mega Man is close enough.

By default, Flower Presenters fire margheritas, but by setting "flower = #" in a Flower Presenter's creation code, the plant it uses will change (1 = a tulip, 2 = a cactus).
