Agent Gilbert D. Stern is a character from the Mega Man comic series published by Archie Comics. He is a federal agent who investigates major crimes and illegal activities alongside his partner, Agent Krantz. Unlike her, however, he is grumpy and cynical, with an inherent distrust of machines.

Stern appears as a major character in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, though his role is relatively minor compared to Krantz's. The pair's office is based in a building in Mega City, with Gil sitting behind a desk as an NPC Zero can talk to. When calling Krantz on the Z-Phone, in some levels he'll be present in the conversation alongside her, sometimes as comic relief. In three specific levels, Stern answers the call instead of Krantz, but he still provides tips about enemies and hazards as she normally would.

If Zero visits his office after clearing S.R.A.R.A. HQ (by which point SRARA leave for Tier X), he'll congratulate Zero (if in an understated way) for chasing SRARA away.
