Guts Man is a boss from the original Mega Man. He was designed for wilderness reclamation, but was reprogrammed by Dr. Wily for combat. Guts Man's likeness is a recurring element in the Mega Man series, with several enemies, midbosses, and even other Robot Masters taking cues from his design, particularly his unique jaw shape.
He appears in Make a Good Mega Man Level as an NPC in Dr. Light's Lab, in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2 as an NPC in Tier 9, and in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero as an NPC in Mega City.
Guts Man was also made available as a boss in the devkit for MaGMML2, and he appears as a boss in Colorful Hall.
Like all MaGMML2 devkit bosses, Guts Man returns in the Megamix Engine, and is planned to appear as a devkit boss for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3. He also appears in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level as the boss of Outer Excavation and Curious Skymachine, and as one of the bosses in the Megamix Engine's Example Game.

Battle[edit]
Guts Man will randomly choose between one of two moves:
- Jump forwards or backwards.
- Jump straight up, creating a rock that falls from above Guts Man. Guts Man then catches this rock and throws it, and the rock will split into 4 pieces of debris once it hits a surface.
Whenever Guts Man lands, he will create an earthquake that will cause Mega Man to fall over if he's standing on the ground.
In the example game of the Megamix Engine, Guts Man can also dig into the ground like in Mega Man Powered Up if the difficulty is set to Hard.
