"I hope Dr. Wily paints me blue. Or chartreuse! Red would make me very sad. I would vent my sadness by throwing rocks all day."
Guts Man prototype, hidden in Guts Man's Asteroid

The Guts Man Duo is a boss from Make a Good Mega Man Level 2. It is a pair of gold-colored Guts Man copies, similar to those seen in the background of Wily Stage 4 in the original Mega Man. They appear as the boss of Guts Man's Asteroid.

Battle[edit]

The Guts Man Duo is fought in a room with low gravity and several Drill Boulder spawners.

The Guts Man copies will randomly choose between one of two moves:

  • Jump forwards or backwards.
  • Jump straight up, creating a rock that falls from above the Guts Man copy who initiated the jump. The copy then catches this rock and throws it, and the rock will split into 4 pieces of debris once it hits a surface. They can also catch a Caricarry that falls from above, and when either of them throw it, the Caricarry will splif into 4 piecies of debris once it hits a surface.

Whenever either Guts Man copy lands, they will create an earthquake that will cause Mega Man to fall over if he's standing on the ground. The copies do not share invincibility frames, meaning that even if one copy is still under the effect of invincibility frames, the other can still be hit (although they will still retain their invincibility frames from direct hits).
