―Note in Hothead's code, Megamix Engine

Hothead is an enemy from Mega Man 2. It is a stove-like robot built for festivals, and can create and throw Tackle Fires.

Hothead was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the entries City War and Spiky Meltdown, as well as the Wily stage Dr. Wily's Incinerator Chute. Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered moved it from the latter stage's redesign over to the remade Flashback Database.

Hothead returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Colorful Hall, MegaLondo, Volcanic Furnace, Blaze Man, Conveyor Mayhem, and Escape Sequence, as well as the recreation of City War, the Wily stage Classic Castle, the Pit of Pits sub-levels "Cold Power Plant", "da ba dee da ba di", "Game Over - Return of Fire", and "Wily Sewer Entrance", and in Null and Void. A single Hothead also appears as an NPC in Tier 2. It also appeared in the Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level Wily stage Wily 3, and the MaGMML: Episode Zero levels String Theory and Null and Void.

In Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, Hothead appeared in the levels One Night in Xanadu, Bunker 20XX, Short-Tempered Circuit, and the Box Cartel stage Pandora's Parlor. One Night in Xanadu notably gave them a custom design that floats in the air on clouds.

Behavior[edit]

Hotheads will constantly throw Tackle Fires in an arc at Mega Man. The Tackle Fires cannot be destroyed conventionally, but shield weapons can reflect/destroy them.
