The Ice Wall (アイスウォール Aisu Wōru) is Cold Man's Special Weapon from Mega Man & Bass. With it, the user creates a column of ice which can be pushed to attack enemies. The Ice Wall shatters after some time, breaking faster when damaged. Creating an Ice Wall above or in the same position of an enemy will make the column hit the target several times before breaking, causing major damage. The ice column can also protect the user against some attacks from the opposite side. If the weapon is used again after the Ice Wall is erected, Mega Man will fire weak buster shots as long as the Ice Wall is still on screen or if there is no remaining Weapon Energy.
The Ice Wall can be used as a platform which Mega Man can jump on and ride as it slides. This allows a safe method of crossing over spikes safely, as well reaching higher places. The Ice Wall is also able of floating on the water's surface and can be used as a makeshift platform for the user to stand on. If an Ice Wall does float to the surface or hits a ceiling, it will not move until it shatters after its preset time.
Make a Good Mega Man Level 3[edit]
The Ice Wall was one of the weapons voted to appear in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3. Although its physics remain accurate to Mega Man & Bass, Mega Man cannot fire buster shots when using the weapon. The Ice Wall is also given new properties, such as being able to block Quick Lasers and Wily 4 Lasers, and freeze Magma Beams solid. Against enemies, the Ice Wall does 2 points of damage by default, but Aquatic and Nature enemies receive 3 points, Flying enemies receive 4 points, and Fire enemies receive 5 points.
