The Junk Block is a gimmick from Mega Man 3, found in Spark Man's stage. It is a large cube of junk and scrap metal, often falling down from chutes.
Junk Blocks were first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, and appeared in the entries Gigavolt Man, Blaze Man, Fortified Lab, Ruined Lab, and Escape Sequence, as well as in the Pit of Pits sublevels "Drill Pickle", "Junkyard 81", "Serpent's Curse", and "Trash Dash". Junk Blocks also appeared in Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level, in the entry Pollution Park, and in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, in the levels Abandoned Lab, Robot Ink Printing Facility (where they're resprited as ink containers), and Null and Void.
Behavior[edit]
Junk Blocks sit idly, often obstructing Mega Man's path. They can be easily destroyed or safely used as platforms, but if Mega Man is under a falling Junk Block, he will take damage from it. Junk Blocks can be spawned with Junk Block Spawner objects, which will continuously spawn them at a regular rate (so long as it doesn't touch another Junk Block). The Super Arm is able to pick up Junk Blocks and use them as ammunition.
Using creation code, users can alter the delay Junk Block Spawners have before spawning a Junk Block, as well as the sprite of the spawned Junk Block.
