"They throw Junk Blocks at Mega Man."
―Note in Junk Golem's code, Megamix Engine

Junk Golem is an enemy from Mega Man 3. It is a robot hastily built from scraps by Dr. Wily.

Junk Golem was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Holy Crap, Mega Man Can Airslide? and Ruined Lab, as well as the Wily stage Reality Core, the Pit of Pits sub-levels "Junkyard 81" and "Trash Dash", and in Null and Void. It also appeared in the Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero level Null and Void.

Junk Golems were unused in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, but a single one appears as an NPC on the SS Elroy in Cabin B3. When talked to, it provides information on sidequests that are currently available, or in some cases, advice on where to go next for sidequests currently in progress.

Behavior[edit]

Junk Golems will stand in one place. As long as they are alive, Junk Blocks will fall from above them. These Junk Blocks do not behave like the gimmick, so they are not solid, and will not be destroyed if they fall on Mega Man. Rather, once the block is directly above the Junk Golem, the golem will throw it at Mega Man. If a Junk Golem is defeated before it catches a Junk Block, the block will fall off the screen.
