Komasaburo is an enemy from Mega Man 3. It is a modified Fan Fiend that dispenses tops from its abdomen.

Komasaburo was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the entries The Quickening and Midnight Snow. It was also added to the redesigned Wily stage Flashback Database in Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered.

It returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in thirteen entries, as well as the Wily stages Classic Castle, Inner Sanctum, and Reality Core, the Tier X stages The Quickening 2, the Pit of Pits rooms "Big Toilet", "da ba dee da ba di", "No Room To Breathe", "Sandstorm Base", "Spinning Top Disposal Room", and "The Top 10 Most Commonly Used Enemies, In Increasing Order" (where it is placed as number seven), and Null and Void. It also appeared in the Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero level Construction of Constructions.

In Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, Komasaburo appears in the game's Weapon Tutorials, the entries Darkwing City, Spicy Top Action, and Lime and Lame, and the Box Cartel stage Pandora's Parlor. It returned for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, and was used in the entries A piece of cake, but with aesthetics, Ballade's Square of Doom, Hunter Tower, Gilded Man, Radium Man, Top Man 2: Spin or Go Home, Escape From the Wily City, Rec Man, Fight, Kikkoman! For Everlasting Sauce!, and Doorkman. It also appeared in the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Entering the Purple Building", "Find Your Land Legs", "Mine Layer Madness", "Room with Moving Ground", "Thank You Move Hovers, Very Cool", and "You Have 24 Hours", and the Shrine of Nebula rooms "Fooley Cooley 2: The Cooler Fooley" and "Shock Chaser".

Behavior

Komasaburos will stand in place, periodically dispensing tops that move along the ground. In MaGMML1, the tops will continue moving along the ground until they touch a wall, in which case they will be destroyed. Starting in MaGMML2, the tops act more like they do in Mega Man 3, as they will turn around upon making contact with a surface, but despawn a certain period of time after being dispensed.
