The Laser Trident (レーザートライデント Rēzā Toraidento) is Splash Woman's Special Weapon from Mega Man 9. With it, the user shoots out a trident-shaped laser which travels horizontally. The trident pierces shielded enemies, ignoring the defenses of enemies such as Sniper Joes and Shield Attackers and dealing direct damage. It can also destroy certain blocks found throughout various stages.
Make a Good Mega Man Level 3[edit]
The Laser Trident was one of the weapons voted to appear in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3. It remains accurate to its Mega Man 9 incarnation, though its power has been lowered to 1 point of damage against most enemies, and certain gimmicks (such as Reflect Blocks) can stop the Laser Trident in its tracks. Against enemies categorized under "Shielded" or "Shield Attackers", it does 2 points of damage, "Primate" enemies are dealt 3 points, and "Joes" suffer 4 points of damage.
