Launch Man & Shuttle Man are a pair of Robot Masters in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, who appear as the bosses of their namesake stage. Launch Man is a large gold and white robot modelled after a space shuttle's fuel tank and rocket boosters, while Shuttle Man is a small white and red robot modelled on a space shuttle.
After gathering 111 Energy Elements, Launch Man appears as an NPC in Tier 10, and can take Mega Man to and from Tier X. Shuttle Man also appears as an NPC in Tier X after clearing Null and Void.
The duo make a return in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, albeit only as a small cameo in the game's credits, where they are seen in the Robot Museum of Mega City, standing in a line filled with other MaGMML2-original Robot Masters.
Battle[edit]
The duo follows a strict set pattern:
- Launch Man attempts to shoot Mega Man with five waves of splitting Launch Rocket bombs, while Shuttle Man flies off-screen.
- Shuttle Man launches a big fireball towards Mega Man, and flies off once again.
- Launch Man jumps to the other side of the screen and repeats the Launch Rocket attack, with Shuttle Man trying to charge into Mega Man mid-attack.
- The duo launches into the sky (Shuttle Man will heal Launch Man by 3 HP if he is alive), then pursue Mega Man by going up and down on Mega Man's current y-axis. This attack will repeat five times (two times up, three times down).
- The duo will pop up from the bottom-middle of the screen, with Launch Man jumping to the right side and Shuttle Man jumping onto the left side.
This pattern will repeat infinitely until Launch Man is defeated. If he is defeated while Shuttle Man is still alive, Shuttle Man will simply fly off the screen. Defeating Shuttle Man first results in no change in Launch Man's pattern, he will simply continue fighting on his own, only performing all of his attacks.
