- ―PKWeegee on the Discord, with totally not overused joke.
Match Man is the boss of the 32nd place level Gunpowder Cellar. He is distinguished by his speed and unpredictable attacks.
He reappears in the Reality Core, fused with Force Man to create Chimerabot 4.

Battle[edit]
Match Man follows one strict pattern:
- Match Man dashes towards Mega Man location.
- Match Man stops near the wall and ignites himself. He's invincible while on fire.
- Match Man jumps to Mega Man and, while landing, shoots two fire attacks in front and in back to himself. That causes him cease to burn, what makes him vulnerable.
- Match Man repeats three previous steps one more time.
- Match Man dashes to the middle of the room, stops and ignites himself. Then he jumps very high and shoots two big fire attacks in front and in back to himself. Those attacks will create fire pillars on the whole screen except some areas. At the first time, that save spot will be under Match Man. At the second time, there will be two save spots, located in the place of the second barrel (on the background) from each wall. After that Match Man ceases to burn and lands.
Strategy[edit]
This battle is designed for full charge buster shots. Shoot it at Match Man while he is dashing. Then, while he's invincible, start to charging buster while avoiding his attacks (jump when he lands, or get to the save spot when he uses his fire pillars attack). When he'll become vulnerable, shoot him again. And so on. Besides charge shots, it's effective to use Grab Buster against him.

Trivia[edit]
- Match Man loses his invincibility times in Mega Arena.
- Match Man's attack pattern is similar to Plant Man's attack pattern, only a bit faster... and with a fiery rain attack added on.
