Metall Cannon is an enemy from Mega Man 5. It is a Metall controlling a stationary cannon.

Metall Cannon was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries MegaLondo, Combust Man, Starman Recreation, Fortified Lab, and Aurora Man, as well as the Wily stage Reality Core, and the Pit of Pits sub-levels "Pipeworks" and "You know the Drill.". It also appeared in the Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero stage Twilight Terrace.

Behavior[edit]

Metall Cannons will hide at first, making them invulnerable to most attacks. When Mega Man gets close, they will peek out from under their helmets (making them vulnerable), raise their cannons, and fire a large shot forward before hiding again.

By default, Metall Cannons are green; by setting "col = 1" in a Metall Cannon's creation code, it will turn a slightly different shade of green, based on their color scheme in Mega Man for the Game Gear.

Trivia[edit]

  • In MaGMML2 and the Megamix Engine, an error with Metall Cannon's shot sound effect prevents it from playing properly; this error is fixed from MaGMML1R onwards.
