Picket Man
- "An enemy originating from Guts Man's stage. Will wait to drop its shield, and once it does, it will throw out a pseudo-random amount of arcing pickaxes."
- ―Note in Picket Man's code, Megamix Engine
Picket Man is an enemy from the original Mega Man. It is a construction robot made by giving a Metall a humanoid body, and wields a shield and an unlimited supply of pickaxes.
Picket Man was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the entries Sky Ziggurat and Thunderclyffe Plant, as well as the Wily stage Flashback Database.
Picket Man returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Cardinal Man, Something Original, MegaLondo, Forgotten Fortress, Joe Destruction Co., Volcanic Furnace, and Wily Coaster. It also appears in the Wily stages Unobtainium Mine and Reality Core, the Pit of Pits sublevels "Chroma Key?", "Thunderclyffe Plant?", and "Vacuum Seal", and in Null and Void. A Picket Man also appears as an NPC outside the entrance to the Pit of Pits. Another (possibly the same) Picket Man NPC is found in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero on the eastern edge of Mega City, overseeing construction done on the remaining part of the city. Additional Picket Man NPCs are found in Construction of Constructions, and Picket Man enemies are found in the same level.
In Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, Picket Man appears in the entries Outer Excavation, Fortified Base, and Weapon Testing Facility, as well as the Box Cartel stage Pandora's Parlor. It returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 in the entries Grand Fire Palace, Fairly Unfocused Newcomer's Bosses And Gimmicks Stage, The Stormscraper, Girder Man Stage, and Mine exploration, as well as the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Gutsman on Ice" and "Questionable Quarry".
Behavior
Picket Men will initially wait with their shields raised. After a brief period of time, they will throw 5-10 pickaxes in arcs at Mega Man before raising their shields again.

Notes
- While most enemies in the MaGMML series stay accurate to their original appearances, the Megamix Engine changes Picket Man's health from 10 (its health in Mega Man, as well as the first two contests) to 5. This was because its original health amount was high enough that the enemy was criticized when several MaGMML2 levels used it.
- Picket Man is the only enemy in the Megamix Engine to be classified as a Joe despite not being related to the Sniper Joe series.
