Rounder.png

Rounder is an enemy from Mega Man 5. It is a flying one-eyed robot that lacks attack capabilities, unable to do much more than circle around its targets.

Rounder was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Guts Man's Asteroid and Boil Man, as well as the Tier X stage Swiss Hotel and the Pit of Pits sub-level "Magic Crash-Pit Ride". It also appeared in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, but only in the entry blainz.

It returned for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, but was only used in the entry Tower of Dimentions, and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevel "Melting Point".

Behavior

Rounders will fly onto the screen and circle around Mega Man. While taking contact damage from them takes more effort than avoiding them, they can serve as an indirect obstacle if placed nearby more threatening enemies, as they may block attacks meant to be used on said enemies. Rounders will eventually stop circling Mega Man and fly away.

Setting "loops =" in creation code will decide how many times a Rounder will circle around Mega Man before leaving, with -1 meaning it will never leave of its own accord (the default is 5 times).
