Volt Boss is a gigantic Robot Master who serves as the boss of the MaGMML3 Judge Application Level Universe City V. He emerges from a pit in his boss arena, and thanks to his bulk, he stays put the entire battle.
In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 proper, "Volt Boss the Refurbished" serves as a midboss of the Tier X stage Return to Universe City V, with very little difference from his original fight. Upon his defeat, Mega Man can walk across his mangled body to the door leading further into the stage.
Battle
Volt Boss follows a simple four-step pattern:
- Fire two large sparks from the orbs on his shoulders towards Mega Man.
- Fire a stream of smaller sparks from his finger that spread out in a predetermined pattern.
- Fire two large sparks from the orbs on his shoulders towards Mega Man.
- Spawn a Volt Man copy at a random location near the ceiling, who hops around the room towards Mega Man, whilst Volt Boss fires two small bolts from his eyes at Mega Man. The Volt Man copy can be destroyed, and only has 1 HP.

Notes
- This boss becomes nearly impossible to lose against if the Jewel Satellite is equipped. The weapon reflects all of the bosses attacks back at it for 1 unit of damage each, and the Volt Man copies are also destroyed by it in one hit, meaning the player can simply stand in the corner of the room and watch as the boss slowly kills himself. The only way to lose the fight at this point is to purposefully jump into the pit that the boss occupies.
- The Volt Man copies created by "Volt Man the Refurbished" look like silvery-gray prototypes of Volt Man, though they behave no differently.
