Wily Fortress VR is a Tier X level in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, created by CosmicGem and The Stove Guy. It is a fortress-themed level with rockets (similar to those seen in Launch Man & Shuttle Man) and screen wrapping serving as major gimmicks.

Strategy

The first room of the level is a long stretch with Mettaurs, Crazy Pellers, and Piriparees blocking Mega Man's path while rockets drop from the top of the screen. After two rooms with small enemy groups (including the addition of Lobstorch) is another long stretch where Mega Man will have to avoid rockets launching out from pits. Dropping down in the room after this leads to one of two rooms, with one of the rooms requiring Mega Man to be up against the right wall. Both rooms lead to the same area, but the right path also has an E-Tank. The area following this is a short room with several Lobstorches and Mettaurs, as well as a Crazy Peller and a rising rocket. Climbing up the ladder at the end of the room leads to a single Dachone, blocking a ladder that leads to a pair of Crazy Pellers. Going to the left in this room leads to an outside area where Mega Man can make some simple jumps over pits while also avoiding falling rockets to grab the first Noble Nickel.

Going to the right instead leads to another outdoor area where Mega Man must avoid falling rockets, this time with Shield Cannopellers also obstructing his path. Once Mega Man gets past the room and climbs up the ladder in a following room with rising rockets and Lobstorches, he will be introduced to the level's version of the screen wrapping gimmick, which must be used to get past the room in question, as well as the following two rooms. After that, Mega Man must face a longer room with more complicated screen wrapping, as well as Shield Cannopellers and rising rockets serving as obstacles.

The next room's exit is blocked off by three Key Barriers. To unlock the key barriers, Mega Man must maneuver downwards while avoiding various enemies and spike traps, grabbing one of the keys at the bottom before wrapping around to the top of the room. After unlocking the key barriers and facing a room with a Dachone and two sets of rising rockets is a room with two boss gates. If Mega Man uses a utility to take the upper gate, he will find a outdoor area with a small screw, three large screws, and the second Noble Nickel. Mega Man can drop back down to the previous room by waiting for a falling rocket to break the gate. Taking the lower gate will lead to a battle against 8 Centipeder Tower.
