'''Alerton''' is a gimmick from ''[[Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero]]''. It is a cycloptic security system robot that fires projectiles when intruders are detected. They are only found in the stage [[Vertical Hunger]].

==Behavior==
Alertons come in two types: one with three guns that rests on ceilings, and one with four points that hide in walls. Both types cannot deal contact damage, and they are both completely immune to all weapons. Initially, they are asleep, but if [[Zero]] is caught by a [[Spotlight]], all Alertons in the current section will wake up and attack him. The ceiling variant fires three-way spreadshots downwards, while the wall variant fires a volley of three projectiles aimed directly at Zero. They will attack at least three times in a row before the alert phase ends, at which point they go back to sleep.
