BG Laser cannons remain in the background, and will shoot a laser into the foreground at regular intervals. The laser is made up of a chain of spheres, whose length is more noticeable when the cannon is near the top or bottom of the screen. Contact with the laser will instantly kill [[Zero]], but a weapon equipped with the [[Icicle Chip]] can freeze it solid, allowing it to be used as a solid platform.
