Hazmat Joes will chase after [[Mega Man]], even climbing up ladders to try and reach him. They will also sometimes jump to reach Mega Man faster, or fire a projectile to slow him down.

When a Hazmat Joe reaches Mega Man, it will slash at him, continuing to do so until he reaches a certain distance from them.
