'''Penpen''' is an enemy from ''[[Mega Man 3]]''. It is a small penguin robot that either slides along the ground or swims in the water.

The sliding variant of Penpen was first made available in the devkit for the original ''[[Make a Good Mega Man Level]]'' contest, but it did not appear in any entries aside from being spawned out by [[Penpen Maker]] in entries where the latter appeared.

The sliding Penpen returned in ''[[Make a Good Mega Man Level 2]]'', with the swimming variant making its debut in the same game; Penpen appeared independent of the Maker in the entries [[Just an Ice Level]], [[Ruined Lab]], and [[Escape Sequence]], as well as the [[The Pit of Pits|Pit of Pits]] sub-level "Gambly Night". Just an Ice Level only includes the sliding variant, while Ruined Lab, Escape Sequence, and "Gambly Night" only include the swimming variant; no level includes both variants.

==Behavior==
Sliding Penpens will simply slide straight forward, and will be destroyed if they hit a wall.

Swimming Penpens will initially move in a curved pattern, homing in on [[Mega Man]] if he gets close.
