Phase 1Phase 2

Iron Ball is a boss from the Mega Man: The Wily Wars sub-game Wily Tower, appearing in the second Wily Stage. It is a giant ball-shaped robot with a durable body and the ability to create spikes from various holes in it.

Iron Ball is one of the devkit bosses present in the Megamix Engine, and is set to appear as a devkit boss in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. It also appears in the Megamix Engine's example game as the boss of the fourth Wily Stage.

Battle

During both phases, Iron Ball's speed will gradually increase as the fight continues.

Phase 1

Iron Ball will bounce along the ground at varying heights, occasionally exposing its face and spikes, at which point it will shoot bouncing blue lasers (the same lasers used by Gemini Man) from two of said spikes if there are not lasers already on-screen.

On Hard Mode, Iron Ball will sometimes shoot a third laser alongside the standard two.

Once Iron Ball reaches half health, it will move towards the center of the screen and begin phase 2.

Phase 2

Sharp spikes will extend from all of Iron Ball's holes, and Iron Ball will begin bouncing along the edges of the room. It will periodically drop a bouncing, exploding egg (the same ones used by Bomber Pepe).

On Hard Mode, Iron Ball will instead drop eggs that hatch into swarms of Copipis upon making contact with a surface (the same eggs dropped by Pipi).
