Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level is a spin-off to the Make a Good Mega Man Level series. Like the mainline games, it was a level design contest, but with a twist - each entrant was given a "box" of two enemies and two stage features, and instructed to make a level around them within 24 hours. The contest was hosted, directed, and judged by ParmaJon, and co-judged by MiniMacro and CreshMan. In total, it received six entries.

A sequel spinoff, Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, held its contest held shortly after the release of the Megamix Engine, and is currently under development.

Story

The game has no in-game story or cutscenes of any kind, with Mega Man going through six stages and then Dr. Wily's castle for little reason. However, Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level is considered canon to the mainline MaGMML timeline, and is supposed to be Mega Man testing the simulation technology used in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2. A reference to this is included in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, with Dr. Light's Lab being closed for simulation testing, with Cut Man noting that it was "only supposed to take 24 hours".

Gameplay

Though the main gameplay remains identical to the classic Mega Man formula, Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level is substantially different from all other MaGMML games. Instead of a hub with NPCs, tiers, and judge comments, levels are accessed from a traditional stage select screen, with judge comments unlocked after completing them by pressing L or R. Because there are no tiers, there is no in-game "ranking" of each entry.
