The Mega Mech Shark is a fortress boss from Mega Man 9, fought at the end of the second Wily stage, and in the Special Stage as the final miniboss. True to its name, it is a gigantic robot shark; large enough that the battle against it is split into three parts, each part focusing on an individual part of the body.
The Mega Mech Shark is one of the devkit bosses present in the Megamix Engine, and is set to appear as a devkit boss in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3. It is also the final boss of the engine's Example Game if the difficulty is set to Hard. In Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, it appears as the boss of Water Park Sup (where only the tail is fought), Minari Hydrospace Center, and Planet Xanlordus. The same game also features it as an NPC in Tier 9, where it uses a costume of Tundra Man.
Battle

The Megamix Engine allows more freedom with how the Mega Mech Shark is used; the phases can be combined in unique ways (such as having four middle segments, or a second tail in the place of a head), and they can even function simultaneously if used in a longer room. All phases will slowly bob up and down during the battle.
Tail
The tail will start the battle by opening a hatch (which is the weak point of the phase) and firing three homing missiles. The hatch will remain closed until all three missiles have either been destroyed or scrolled off-screen.
Middle
The middle of the body does not attack Mega Man directly; instead, it drops dolphin robots from its two dome-shaped hatches, which will move in Mega Man's direction. The dome-shaped hatches are the weak points of the phase, and health is split between the two.
Head
The head will periodically open its mouth to shoot four lasers before closing its mouth again. The weak point of this phase is its open mouth.

Trivia
- The Mega Mech Shark was the final devkit boss revealed for MaGMML3, being revealed at the end of the final Devkit Boss Rush video.
- With three separate segments taking up almost a screen each, the Mega Mech Shark is currently the largest devkit boss, as well as the largest boss in the MaGMML series.
- The dolphin robots from the second phase make an appearance in the Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero level Projectile Party!, where they appear as standard enemies dispensed from the hatches. The Mega Mech Shark itself is entirely absent from the game.
