The Wily Machine Arc is the final boss of Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level. It is a Wily Machine-type mech with four forms, each resembling a Robot Master who's weak to one of the four Special Weapons available. It appears at the end of the Wily stage Wily 3.

Battle

Phase 1

The Wily Machine Arc's first form is modeled after Star Man. It floats on the right side of the screen, using the following attack pattern:

  • Fire two Star Crash rings in downward arcs that rise up to Mega Man's position.
  • Fire a Star Crash that flies behind the Wily Machine Arc, then into Mega Man.
  • Fire two Star Crash rings in downward arcs that rise up to Mega Man's position.
  • Summon a Star Crash from the left side of the screen that flies towards Mega Man.

The layout of the room is best suited for Water Wave, the only default special weapon the form takes damage from.

Phase 2

The second form of the machine is modeled after Nitro Man. It drives back and forth at the bottom of the arena while firing Wheel Cutters, climbing up the wall and dropping down when reaching it. The pattern consists of two fast drives with two Wheel Cutters thrown, followed by a slow drive with about seven Wheel Cutters thrown before the pattern repeats. The only default special weapon that damages this form is Chill Spike. After this form is defeated, a large health capsule is left behind for use before proceeding to the third form.

Phase 3

The third form is modeled after Cut Man. It stands on the right side of the screen, tossing cutters in the air that drop down on Mega Man and then slowly move in his direction. The only default weapon that can hurt the form is Super Arm, and Super Arm Blocks are scattered throughout the room to accommodate. In addition, a held Super Arm Block can block the thrown cutters. If there are no Super Arm Blocks left, another one will fall from the top of the screen.

Phase 3

The fourth and final form is modeled after Guts Man. It stands on the right side of the screen, rapidly throwing rocks of two different sizes. The only default weapon that affects this form is Time Slow. Uniquely, this form lacks invincibility frames.
