DISCLAIMER Please note that following changes made in 2024 to Discord image links, many of the costume links below currently do not work. To access them in the meantime, copy and paste the link into the tool here: https://easrng.github.io/fixcord/ If you wish to upload a costume, either upload it directly to the wiki (using the filename format "[CharacterName]([GameName]).png"), or to a reliable image host like Imgur or Google Drive.
Custom Costumes are optional Costumes that are created by the MaGMML community for MaGMML games that support them. These costumes are not included in the main game, but can be downloaded and added to the shop. Custom Costumes are in the following games:
- Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered, where the feature is unlocked at Roll's costume shop for only 200 bolts.
- Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, unlocked after collecting 100 Noble Nickels.
- Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, purchased from Double Action Boutique for 200 bolts.
- Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, purchased from Maker Man's costume shop on floor 2 of the Victor Heights hotel for 200 bolts.

How to Add a Custom Costume[edit]
- In the game folder, locate the "Costumes" folder (or "Skins" folder in the MaGMML2 game folder). If this folder doesn't exist, you can create it yourself, or go into the costume select menu in game.
- For Windows users, the skin folder should be located in the filepath C:\Users\(Your username on your computer)\AppData\Local\MAGMML2_MAIN_GAME (this also applies to other games as well).
- Alternatively, users can place the costumes folder on the same folder where the game is located.
- Click on the file to download the costume you'd like to use.
- Place the file into the costumes folder.
- Head to the costume shop and press up by the paintbrush sign (or talk to Maker Man). Now you should see your costume listed in the selection menu!

How to Convert MaGMML2 Skins Into Use for MaGMML1 Remastered[edit]
For Windows[edit]
- You'll need Python installed into your computer, download the latest stable Python build in their official website here: https://www.python.org/downloads/ , if your computer has Python installed already, you may skip the first two steps.
- When installing using their Executable Installer, check the box that says "Add Python to PATH", this will allow Python to be run in Command prompt.
- Open up Command prompt (you can do so through opening up Start menu, then searching "cmd"), type "python -m pip install pillow" and press Enter to install the PIL module required to run the script.
- In the MaGMML1 Remastered game folder, locate the folder "Costumes", inside is where you put your 1R spritesheets for use ingame, there is also a folder called "Tools".
- In "Tools", there is a batch file that when run, it will convert all pngs in the folder to be compatible for use with 1R, the converted files will be placed in the previous folder ("Costumes").
- If you want to convert individual files, you will need to use Command prompt, and navigate to where this folder is to run the Python script, use 'cd "[filepath that can be copied over in Explorer]"'. After being in the "Tools" folder in Command prompt, use "python magmml2_costume_to_1r.py SkinMagmml2.png Skin1R.png", with "SkinMagmml2.png" being the filename for the MaGMML2 skin that you want to convert, "Skin1R.png" being the name of the output skin file.
