Instead, it deflects incoming shots with its front-mounted shield, protecting it from most attacks. Though they always face Mega Man (preventing him from attacking their unshielded backs), he can still destroy them if he attacks them from above with the [[Sakugarne]], from below with the [[Wire Adaptor]], or uses the [[Slash Claw]], [[Wheel Cutter]], or [[Force Beam]] to go through their shields.
