The Rotating Block is a gimmick found in Super Mario World. It is a block with eyes that spins when hit from below.
Rotating Blocks are present in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, only in the Tier X stage Mario Land.
Behavior
Rotating Blocks act as solid platforms that can be used as platforms. When jumped into from below, they will spin around for a few seconds and become non-solid, allowing Mario to jump through them. By using a Spin Jump on top of them while Super Mario or Fire Mario, Rotating Blocks will be destroyed outright.
