The Mario Spinning Platform is a gimmick found in Super Mario World. It is a rotating platform attached to a blue block by a wooden chain.
Mario Spinning Platforms are present in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, only in the Tier X stage Mario Land.
Behavior
Mario Spinning Platforms rotate clockwise around the block they're linked to. Both the platform and the block are solid objects, though the former can also be jumped onto from underneath. A block can have more than one platform linked to it at a time, with Mario Land having blocks with up to three platforms attached to it.
