Twin Cannon is an enemy from Mega Man 5. It is a machine with a large cannon at the front, as well as a smaller cannon on the lower part.
Twin Cannon was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Cardinal Man, Orbital Station, Holy Crap, Mega Man Can Airslide?, Conveyor Mayhem, Aurora Man, and Donut Observation Center, as well as the Wily stage Reality Core, the Tier X level Null and Void, and the Pit of Pits sub-level "Airbag". Conveyor Mayhem also includes a unique upside-down variant of the enemy.
It reappears in the Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level entry X Factory, and in the Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 Judge Application Levels, where it appears in both the port of X Factory and the new level Space Crusade.
Behavior
Twin Cannons will normally only shoot projectiles from their lower cannon. If a projectile is about to hit the cannon, it will shoot from its top cannon. The bottom cannon's projectiles cannot be shot, and can thus be reflected by Jewel Satellite, while the top cannon's projectiles can be shot, allowing the Twin Cannon to protect itself from weaker attacks.
