"MEGA MAN... YOUR SENTENCE... IS DEATH!!!"
―Death Man, Make a Good Mega Man Level 3

Death Man is a Robot Master that originally appears in Mega Man Rock Force. A government issue robot, Death Man was considered one of the most powerful robots of the current generation who was created with the purpose of hunting down and destroying dangerous robots, and his energy matrix required eight times the energy of a typical Robot Master to function properly. Due to high costs of his constant upkeep, and the formation of the Rock Force, Death Man was instead allowed to function as a crop farmer until his energy source depleted.

In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, Death Man makes a reappearance as the Tier Boss Tier 13. The amount of damage his attacks can do is much lower compared to his fight in Rock Force. He later appears in the Magic Card Casino after his defeat.

Game Appearances

Mega Man Rock Force

Death Man is a Robot Master that is fought after defeated the previous Robot Masters whose IC chips of the previous ones were combined to bring them back online. His stage, along with himself, proved to be very dangerous, and he is rather skilled with a scythe, which is able to take a third of Mega Man's health away, while contact with Death Man himself can take out a quarter of it.

Make a Good Mega Man Level 3

Death Man makes a reappearance in Tier 13, as a figure covered in shadow when Mega Man enters the boss area. Mistaking the arena for one of the movie rooms, he went to ask the figure directions. By surprise, the figure addressed Mega Man by his name, revealing himself to be Death Man. Mega Man was reluctant to talk to Death Man due to past incidents, despite the mechanical reaper trying to calm the Blue Bomber down. Death Man asks Mega Man to help him fulfill his duty as the Tier Boss and to accept his compliments, seeing a lot of himself in Mega Man, as both of them had the purpose of hunting down and destroying dangerous robots. After the conversation, Death Man sweeps Mega Man onto the big screen, which brings him to an arena that looks similar to Death Man's stage in Rock Force.

Death Man battles similarly to his Rock Force counterpart, but he has some new attacks added:

  • Death Man diagonally throws his scythe, which has it bounce around the room until it flies back to him.
  • Death Man throws his scythe in the direction of Mega Man, where it will bounce off the wall and back into his hands.
  • Death Man throws his scythe, and it begins bouncing on the ground until he grabs it.

Death Man will jump towards Mega Man's current location during these attacks, usually around a maximum of three times.

After losing a third of his health, Death Man will gain new attacks:

  • Death Man throws his scythe into the bottom center of the room, which will begin pulling Mega Man towards it. Death Man will attempt to jump on Mega Man as this happens.
  • Death Man throws his scythe into the air and disappears. Three scythes will then appear, orbiting around Mega Man, until they stop and fly towards him. This happens a maximum of three times.
  • Death Man throws his scythe in the air, where it will appear in the center of the room. After settling in the room's center, it will begin launching five scythes that orbit around it which go outward as they orbit. The center scythe will launch these scythes three times.
  • Death Man throws his scythe downwards, causing a line of scythes to begin rising from below. The scythes have a pattern, with half of them going up, and vice versa.

During the multi-scythe attacks, Zomburgs will begin jumping into the arena, where they can be destroyed for health and weapon energy.
