The Magnet is a gimmick in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, found exclusively in the Wily stage Unobtainium Mine. It is a large magnet that will attract or repel a Magnet Shield.
Behavior
Magnets by themselves have no effect on Mega Man, but if he has a Magnet Shield orbiting him and it faces a Magnet, it will affect him based on the particular Magnet. Red Magnets will pull the shield and Mega Man towards them, while blue Magnets will push them away. An arrow on each magnet acts as a clear indicator of which direction it will push or pull Mega Man and the shield in. The range of a Magnet's pull is clearly visible, and if the shield is in this field, he will be affected by the Magnet. However, if Mega Man himself blocks the path between a Magnet and a Magnet Shield, the Magnet will not affect him at all.
