The Easy Platform is a gimmick from Mega Man 10, which appears in levels when the difficulty is set to Easy. It is a platform kept airborne by a small propeller on the bottom, and is intended to cover pits and make platforming challenges easier.
Easy Platforms were first included in the Megamix Engine, but because of their reliance on difficulty options (which no Make a Good Mega Man Level project to date has featured), they have been excluded from all devkits following the engine's release.
Behavior
When placed in a level, Easy Platforms will exist so long as the difficulty is set to Easy. If the difficulty is Normal or Hard, all platform instances in the level will automatically delete themselves. Easy Platforms come in three variants; one that is 16 pixels wide, one 24 pixels wide, and one 32 pixels wide.
Notes
- The Easy Platform's graphics are used in Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered for platforms that only appear when using one of the single-weapon only cheats.
