Bokazurah is an enemy from Mega Man 9. It is a heavily-armoured pitcher plant robot that spits large balls out in response to attackers.
Bokazurah was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. It appeared in four entries in the latter game, those being Down the Drain, Flamecrush Forest, Rocky Blocky Cavern, and Windy Conditions.
Behavior
Bokazurah is immobile, completely invincible against all attacks, and harmless when left alone. If Mega Man shoots it, however, it will shoot up to three arching balls at him in retaliation. These balls are capable of destroying special blocks that are used as platforms; a typical setup would rely on these blocks obstructing the way forward, and the solution being provoking Bokazurah into attacking. The Super Arm is also capable of lifting up these blocks and using them as ammunition.
