- "Simple enemy that slowly chases Mega Man."
- ―Note in Pole's code, Megamix Engine
Pole is an enemy from Mega Man 3. It is a tadpole robot that hatches from Pole Eggs.
Pole and its respective egg object were first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level contest. Pole made a single appearance outside of an egg, in the Wily stage Be the Bigger Person.
Pole and the Pole Egg returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, with Pole making independent appearances in the entries The Fall and Shovel Knight, as well as the Wily stage Inner Sanctum and the Pit of Pits sub-level "Be The Bigger Person?".
Behavior
Poles will very slowly swim towards Mega Man.
Trivia
- As of the first build of the Megamix Engine, every MaGMML devkit has internally referred to Pole with the name "Tadpole".
