- ―Note in Landmine's code, Megamix Engine
The Landmine is a gimmick from Mega Man V, found in Mars's stage. It is a landmine that explodes after being stepped on.
Landmines are included in the Megamix Engine, and therefore the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. However, the first game to use them was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, in Null and Void; this level also features a unique Landmine variant that floats in the air.
Behavior
If Mega Man steps on a Landmine, it will trigger a countdown lasting anywhere from one to three seconds, at the end of which it will explode. A triggered Landmine flashes, with the flashing speeding up when one second or less is left before it explodes.
