I Hope I Win
"I Hope I Win" is a declaration of one's own desire to achieve victory. The phrase has taken on a memetic meaning throughout the Make a Good Level contests, and the Make a Good Mega Man Level contests are no exception.

Origin
"I Hope I Win" first occurred in a level for SuperMarioWorldCentral's Choco Level Contest. The level was called "Chocolate Island" and was made by the user mariocool1999. It appears twice in the level, first on the introductory text, and later it's spelled out with coins at the end of the level. This level achieved 31st place out of 33 entrants, meaning that these hopes were not met.
This was deemed hilarious, causing it to be repeated in many other Make a Good Level contests. Notably, the winning level of MaGLX2 had an "I Hope I Win" joke in their level, making it the only level in any MaGL contest so far to declare its hopes of winning and go on to actually win.
