Neo Heli Metall is an enemy from Mega Man 10. Like certain variants of Metall DX, it is a Metall with legs and a propeller. However, it is always flying in the air, and it is able to fly while still hiding inside its helmet.
While Neo Heli Metall was not a devkit enemy for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, it appeared as a custom enemy in the entry Joe Man.
Neo Heli Metall is included in the Megamix Engine, and is planned to appear as a devkit enemy in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. The first finished game to use the devkit Neo Heli Metall was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it appeared in Null and Void.
Behavior
Neo Heli Metalls will move back and forth within a fixed area while hiding in their helmets, only briefly revealing their faces when they reach the edge of their path so they can fire three projectiles in a spread before hiding again.
Notes
- In the Megamix Engine, Neo Heli Metall is referred to as "Beta Heli Metool".
