- "a smaller and slower version of CWU-01P with spikes. It descends slowly down from the ceiling, but once its aligned with Megaman, it will fly towards it in a wave pattern"
- ―Note in M-445's code, Megamix Engine
M-445 is an enemy from Mega Man 2. It is a miniaturised offshoot of the CWU-01P water purifier robots, which Dr. Wily once repurposed as combat robots.
M-445 was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the stages Level and Napalm Forest and Caves.
M-445 returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Something Original and Taco Man.
Behavior
M-445 drifts down slowly from its starting point, and upon reaching Mega Man's level, it swims in his direction in a slow sine wave. What it has in mobility it lacks in durability, as any weapon is capable of destroying it in one hit.
In the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, M-445s had the option of rising upwards before swimming; this feature is absent in its later appearances (aside from Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered).
