The Building Platform is a gimmick from Mega Man 4, found in Dust Man's stage. It is a large platform made of four blocks that fly upwards from the bottom of the screen and assemble into one.

Building Platforms were first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, but only appeared in the Wily stage Flashback Database, with no entry stages using the gimmick.

Building Platforms returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, and were used in the entries Quirky Unconsistent Incomprehensible Nonsensical Track, Gigavolt Man, Forgotten Fortress, But It Lacked the Depth to Convince Me That This is Really Hell, and Escape Sequence.

Behavior

Building Platforms are formed from four pieces that fly up from the bottom of the screen before stopping to combine into one larger block. This block remains in place for several seconds, before disassembling back into four small blocks that fall back down.
