The Sideway Elevator is a gimmick in Mega Man 10, found in the third Wily stage. It is a large platform with a button on each side.
Sideway Elevators were first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where they appeared in the entry But It Lacked the Depth to Convince Me That This is Really Hell, as well as the Pit of Pits sub-level "To the top", and in Null and Void's Floor 4 hub.
Behavior
Sideway Elevators will remain idle at first. If Mega Man stands on one of its two buttons, it will begin to move in the direction the button is facing, having to build up momentum before it starts moving.
