Helipon is an enemy from Mega Man 4. It is a cave-exploring robot that flies with a propeller.

Helipon was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level contest, where it appeared in the entry Chroma Key, as well as the Final Stage.

Helipon returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entry Conveyor Mayhem, as well as the Wily stages Outer Space and Reality Core, and the Pit of Pits sub-level "Stormy Ascent".

Behavior

Helipons will fly towards Mega Man, dropping to the ground when they get close enough. Once they drop to the ground, they will sit still and periodically fire a projectile straight forward.
