Eggron is a recurring enemy from the Contra series. It is a stationary alien egg that produces an infinite amount of Buggers.

Eggrons also appear in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, as enemies in the stage Contra Base.

Behavior

Eggrons are immobile, and will rest on either the ground or the ceiling. Their only attack is to open up and spawn a Bugger, which it does every few seconds. They can produce infinite numbers of Buggers until they are destroyed.
