The Daidine is a gimmick in Mega Man 5. It is a moving platform that spins Mega Man as he stands on it.
Daidines were first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where they appear in the entries Orbital Station, AD 2101, Changeable Caverns, But It Lacked the Depth to Convince Me That This is Really Hell, Escape Sequence, Launch Man & Shuttle Man, and Beneath Sand and Rock, as well as the Wily stage Reality Core and the Pit of Pits sub-level "Stormy Ascent". It also appeared in the Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level entry Nauseous Greenhouse.
Following the release of the Megamix Engine, Daidines returned in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, in the levels Mega Man Saves Canada from the Evil Clutches of and Pandora's Parlor. In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, Daidines were used in the entries Tower of Dimentions, Lost Caverns of Jungata, and Unguarded Treasure.
Behavior
Daidines will hang in the air at first. When Mega Man stands on it, it will carry him in a straight line, falling shortly after reaching its destination.
